Andrea Piccioni
Andrea Piccioni is well known both here in the USA and throughout Europe for his technical mastery of the Italian tamburello and its traditional repertoire. To this expertise, Andrea adds an extraordinary capacity to interpret and adapt a variety of traditional playing styles, including Turkish, Persian, and Indian.

Todd Roach
Todd Roach, a Vermont educator and performer, has worked closely with Cooperman over the past few years, traveling with us to festivals and workshops throughout the world. Our collaborations with Todd have led to this unique tambourine designed to accompanying many styles of music and for building dynamic drum solos.

Now Available: the Cooperman 99 Slapback. Developed with endorsing artist Matt Kilmer this new model tuneable tar drum is enriched with the addition of steel shot to create powerful shaker and slap effects. then link to the tar drum page where the drum is featured and there’s a clip of Matt. Kilmer has proved to be a strong new voice in music, and our new drum is powered-up to meet the demands of his rocking style.
