NEW!  Balkan Brass Mallet
This hand turned, solid maple mallet, model #87 “Balkan Brass”, is designed by Matt Moran of the New York brass band Slavic Soul Party! to bring out full low end from a bass drum with the punchy attack that propels Balkan brass.  The smooth 3/4″ handle is comfortable for hours of playing and ergonomic for fingers controlling rebound.  This is a great beater for the “tapan” (in Macedonian), “tupan” (in Bulgarian), “goč” (in Serbian), “daoul” (in Greek), or “davul” (in Turkish and Albanian) especially for with brass band music in mind.
