Our Traditional Model Fifes follow the traditional and historic form of the instrument: the fife is made of a single piece of wood with a simple untapered bore and six tone holes with no keys. The silhouette of both Professional Model and Student Model wood fifes is shaped in the antique style with long brass ferrules, while the Student Model black plastic fife is cylindrical in form. This is the most popular fife today, as well as being suitable for early music and historical reeenactment performances.
