Inspired
by the Azerbaijani drums played with distinctive
finger-snap techniques, our ghaval is graced with
24 brass rings divided into 6 groups by 7 small
pellet bells. We’ve incorporated our internal
tuning system, and featured a REMO Renaissance
head mounted on a sharp bearing edge, to create
a bright, clear response The maple frame is enhanced
with an exterior flitch of dark walnut. A half-moon
arch provides accessibility and comfort for hand-held
playing styles.
